A message from Dan!

So, as some of the followers to this blog may have noticed i have undergone a little bit of a rebrand in the last few weeks. As a result of this dangordondesign.com is now my main portfolio site, so please feel free to check that out if you wish. There will be more updates and projects coming soon. You are also able to check this blog via that url out as well. 

I have been very busy in recent weeks completing my university degree in graphic design, which, despite the lack of sleep, i have ultimately loved over the last 3 years.

This blog will continue to be updated on a more regular basis from now on, with everything and anything that ‘inspires’ me within the world of design… because we all know we need another design inspiration blog.

Biennale di Venezia by Stockholm Design Lab _ The Venice Biennale is the worlds most exciting visual arts event that takes place once every two years in Venice, Italy. The 53rd International Art Exhibition, curated by Daniel Birnbaum, comprised works by over 90 artists from all over the world. The assignment was to create a new strong visual identity that would communicate the theme‚ Making Worlds. The visual identity should both reflect the atmosphere of the Art Exhibition, keep all activities together and create an extraordinary interest. The design concept for‚ Making Worlds‚ is a graphic language with a visible connection to the world, that stands strong and clear in its own communication. We combined elements from something truly universal‚ all the flags of the world‚ and created something new. The making of worlds with abstract forms.
